The problem with most social media advice you find online is that it is either implementable only by companies with large marketing budgets, it is designed for interaction versus bottom line, or it was effective for a very specific business demographic and it is very difficult (maybe impossible) to create duplicate results for your business.
What makes my advice different? My strategies always consider your bottom line and are not designed for large companies. These strategies are designed for the single owner/employee business owner who already has way too much to do. I do not believe a gift boutique and an auto-parts store should have the exact same marketing plan. There are many basic strategies relevant to almost all businesses and other ideas need to be tweaked to work for your business.
I am going to identify five social media killers and I am going to offer a recommended fix for each one. After all, what good does it do for me to tell you what you might be doing wrong if I am not going to help you fix it?

As entrepreneurs we know how important it is to give a good elevator pitch and yet many people freeze up when people ask them what they do. Ever wonder why some people seem to effortlessly give an elevator speech while you feel tongue tied whenever someone asks you what you do? Or you tell someone what you do and they do not show any interest at all.
When you give a 30-60 second speech about what you do, you are communicating on many levels. Your words and mannerisms tell people whether or not you are confident and passionate about what you do. The way you give your pitch tells people whether or not you are tuned in to them and what their problems are.
Join us for an overview of what makes up a great elevator speech followed by a step-by-step workshop with fill-in-the-blank templates and feedback from the group to help you create a great elevator speech that gets you clients and referrals.
